This project delves into the complexity of human identity, exploring the
duality between our conscious and unconscious selves. Why do we shift
between different aspects of ourselves depending on context?
This exploration asks whether a ‘true self’ even exists, or if our identity is
constantly shaped by our environment and mental state. Through the use
of masks and video, I capture individuals, including myself, wearing these
masks, often portraying emotions that are hidden beneath the surface.
By adopting these masks, I challenge the viewer to question what is
revealed versus what is concealed, pushing the boundaries of self-pre-
sentation and the blurred lines between who we truly are and how we are
perceived by others.

outward strength and inner vulnerability within human duality.
