Warpped in Plastic: Notes on the Elimination of the Humans on the Earth

‘How much trash do I discharge in a month?’  This is my real monthly record that started from;
As I collected the trash I usually threw away without thinking for a month a home, and watching the trash gathering,
I showed my usual habits and reduced the use of disposable products to reduce waste.
One of the biggest causes of water pollution is the trash we dump into the ocean without permission.
There is already a large amount of trash in the Pacific Ocean called ‘Trash Island’,and if we don’t correct this, the trash will grow out of control and swallow us.

It turned into a huge wave.

 Warpped in Plastic:
 Notes on the Elimination of the  Humans on the Earth.

‘What if everything people control overcomes us’ like an enormous wave. ‘Horror, magnificent, and inescapable’ forms were studied in connection with the wave shapes. Among the various wastes, the reflective feature of the back of the snack bag like the mirror was used as the main material of the space as it maximises the fear that cannot be escaped between the spaces. In addition, through the process of simplifying the various shapes of waves, it was expressed as the flow and circulation of the space.

The space was designed by imagining the fear of changing environment and the after more time. The erratic speed and unstable movement of huge waves felt in space lead us to a new world that has never been known.

‘The piles of garbage will swallow us up.’
It occurred to me that the trash we threw away would become huge waves for us and return.
‘Scary and threatening’,
A mirror was installed on the 4 sides of the space to express the feeling of being trapped in the trash more dramatically,
expressing the space of the trash turning into a huge wave and the appearance of us trapped in it.
